We are excited to introduce the ‘WA ITS Showcase 2025’, a series of engaging and educational events taking place in Perth on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 February 2025 leading into the 15th ITS Australia Awards Gala Dinner.
The showcase will include technical tours, presentations, workshops and networking activities, all designed to maximise the value of your visit tseries of engaging and educational events taking place in Pero Perth for the Awards.

Thursday 13 February
Perth ITS Technical Tour, 9.00am – 1.00pm
Join Main Roads WA for a fascinating technical tour of ITS innovations in Perth and presentations outlining initiatives happening across the state. The tour includes activities such as:
- Site visit to the Road Network Operations Centre - a purpose-built, world-class facility designed to help manage congestion, optimise road network safety and performance. (up to 60)
- Main Roads WA presentation on ITS projects happening across the state (up to 60)
- Smart Freeways drive through – delegates will be transported by bus along Perth’s Smart Freeway network with commentary of the ITS technology powering these important transport corridors.
- C-ITS Proof of Concept drive through

The research project team will present the latest findings and seek feedback from industry.
The C-ITS National Harmonisation and Pre-deployment research project involves uplifting around 30 intersections across five key corridors within the Australian Integrated Multimodal Ecosystem (AIMES) testbed (Melbourne, Victoria) with the advanced sensing and communication capability to continually transmit live information about traffic and safety for road users.
Deploying C-ITS at scale in a real-world busy urban environment will allow assessment of benefits, deployment considerations and options, and provide recommendations that could support Australian’s road authorities’ adoption of C-ITS in a nationally harmonised manner.
