ITS Australia proudly introduces the ‘WA ITS Showcase 2025’, a series of engaging and educational events taking place in Perth on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 February 2025 leading into the 15th ITS Australia Awards.
With the Awards being hosted in Perth for the first time, the Showcase has been designed to maximise the trip to the West for interstate visitors. Visitors can choose from a range of events, essentially curating a customised itinerary of activities ahead of the Awards Gala Dinner on the evening of Thursday 13 February.
The WA ITS Showcase 2025 includes the following activities:
ITS Leaders Forum
Join us for a series of presentations from industry, government and academia, followed by networking and refreshments. Similar to an ITS Business Networking event, this is a fantastic opportunity to hear the latest ITS initiatives happening across Australia, and network with friends and colleagues.
Perth ITS Technical Tour
Join Main Roads WA for a fascinating technical tour of ITS innovations in Perth and presentations outlining initiatives happening across the state. The tour includes the Road Network Operations Centre, Smart Freeways Drive Through, C-ITS Proof of Concept and presentations outlining key government ITS activities.
Track Side Research Day
A professional development workshop day for Connected Vehicle data practitioners and those curious, bringing together data, knowledge and real-world driver experiments to power a learning environment like no other. For future-focused transport professionals, it’s your classroom on four wheels.
C-ITS Harmonisation Workshop / Information Session
Project participants from the C-ITS National Harmonisation research project will meet for a project workshop. This will be followed by an Information session where the latest findings from the project will be presented
NextGens Networking Drinks,
Young transport professionals are invited to join the ITS Australia Next Gens for Networking Drinks, hosted just before the ITS Australia Awards Gala Dinner. This is a great opportunity to build your national network of contacts and learn more about the NextGens program of activities.
