ITS Australia's ITS Tech Talk series is transport technology 101. Each episode will serve as an introduction to one key part of the ITS industry . . . this is year we continue the series with Episode 7.
How do we monitor the road network in order to make real-time and high-level design decisions? Road sensors and traffic monitoring is a critical part of modern ITS infrastructure. This presentation will review the types of sensors used to collect the vast range of traffic data that is available for powering our consumption needs.
What you will learn
