In our ITS2 series of webinars—a collaboration between ITS United Kingdom and ITS Australia—our experts share best practice in transport technology between the two nations. These webinars will look at technology advancements that are common to both countries and compare how they have been implemented.
Increasing penetration of electric mobility, connectivity and shared transport have all impacts on mobility. Increasing active transport remains a clear objective of many jurisdictions and they strive to support the health and wellbeing of the community through encouraging active transport modes. COVID has added a new dimension with active travel being taken up enthusiastically in response to social distancing requirements. This panel session explores the recent developments in active travel, some of the challenges being faced and how they are being overcome.
