Relevant, timely and accurate information is critical for experience, whether it’s road congestion, crisis management or an inquiry on a service. What people don’t see is where the data flows from, how often that data is updated, and what unseen demands are being placed on infrastructure. For example, the busiest times for traffic information is when most vehicles are on the road and conditions turn bad. Phil Scanlon
VP, Sales Engineering, Asia Pacific & Japan / Solace Corporation
Phil Scanlon is Solace’s VP of Sales Engineering, heading up Sales Engineering team in APJ. He joined Solace in 2016. Based in Singapore he is responsible for the development and management of the APAC organisation, aligning Solace technology and solutions with customer requirements.
Phil has over 15 years solid experience in the enterprise software market. He has worked in roles across the globe, his career taking him through UK / Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.
Phil is experienced in identifying and developing solutions with our customers, and has a strong personal focus on customer satisfaction. Phil has successfully introduced new technologies into existing and new accounts and has worked across Delivery, Engineering and Sales.


Dr Hanna Grzybowska
Senior Research Scientist / DATA61 | CSIRO
Dr. Hanna Grzybowska recently joined the Intelligent Mobility Team as a Senior Research Scientist. Before coming to Data61 she worked in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering's Research Centre for Integrated Transport Innovation (rCITI) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Prior to that she was a member of the Intelligent Fleet Logistics (IFL) business team at NICTA. Hanna completed her Ph.D. in Operational Research at the Department of Statistics and Operational Research of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain.


Phil Allen
VP Sales - APAC / TomTom
At TomTom, Phil's objective is to establish the brand as the number one supplier of map and traffic content in the region and to assist customers to maximise the value from TomTom's data with custom web and mobile apps. His responsibility covers the region from Japan across to India and down to Australia and New Zealand which incorporates over 500m people.
Previous to this role, Phil was the CEO of GeoSmart, a mapping and traffic data supplier for car navigation, geospatial, web and mobile applications focused on NZ and Australia which TomTom purchased as a two stage investment through the period of Dec 2013 to 30th May 2014.


John Cardoso
Senior Product Manager / Intelematics
With his extensive background in product, data analytics and monetization of data in the IOT space, John is a Senior Product Manager at Intelematics. Before joining Intelematics’, John worked in various industries from manufacturing to travel and government. John has particular interests in consumer insights and digital marketing where he ran global partnerships with companies like Facebook, Microsoft and Google.
