The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts is seeking feedback from industry on a draft National Road Transport Technology Strategy and a draft 2024–27 National Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Action Plan.

These strategic documents aim to deliver a nationally consistent approach by governments to supporting new road transport technologies. A nationally consistent approach helps governments and industry make investment decisions, and facilitates the smooth operation of technologies across state and territory borders.

Join us for this online briefing session with the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts to learn about the draft Strategy and Action Plan and how you can have your say during the consultation period.

Your feedback is sought on:

• How can the role of governments and the principles guiding government action in the draft strategy be improved?
• Are the actions in the draft action plan the right ones? Do you disagree with any proposed actions? Are there any actions missing?
• What other changes should be made to the draft strategy and action plan?
