ITS Australia is proud to host this event in association with Australia’s National Women in Transport Initiative and the ITS World Congress 2022.

The event will showcase and support—and increase the number of—Australian and international women working in transport. If you are attending the LA congress, join us as we collectively hear stories and share best practices from women leaders and work towards developing strategies for overcoming barriers.

Show your support

Supporting diversity in the ITS industry is a shared responsibility amongst ITS Australia Board of Directors, our employees, our members, and stakeholders. We seek your support as we strive to achieve our vision for improvements and balanced gender diversity within ITS.

You don't need to be attending the congress to demonstrate your support, email ITS Australia for support package options.

About National Women in Transport

The aim is to showcase, support and increase the number of Australian women working in transport. One way we’ll do this is through the Speaker Bureau - ITS Australia's own Susan Harris, CEO is recognised as a leader in transport.

We’ll establish partnerships and collaborate to create culture change and combat transport worker stereotypes.

This is an initiative of Australia’s infrastructure and transport ministers who agreed to the Women In Transport Initiative at the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ITMM) in May 2021.

The initiative is supported by the Australian Government and Infrastructure Australia, and coordinated by the National Transport Commission.
