ITS Australia Summit Opens Doors to Future Transport Leaders with Dynamic Careers Expo

Melbourne, Australia – 14 October 2025: University students across Queensland are set to gain a unique insider’s view into one of the nation’s fastest-growing and most innovative industries at the second ITS Australia Careers Expo, held as part of the 2025 ITS Australia Summit, the country's largest annual gathering of intelligent transport systems (ITS) professionals.

Supported by State Host Partner Queensland Government, the final day of the flagship Summit (21 November) at the Gold Coast Exhibition & Convention Centre is transformed into a Careers Expo designed to connect students from leading member universities with over 40 potential employers spanning government, global industry leaders, and cutting-edge startups.

As a key initiative from ITS Australia, the nation’s peak body for the sector, the Expo is designed to inspire and engage the next generation of transport leaders through direct access to job opportunities, networking, and expert-led conference sessions, including a curated panel exploring ITS career pathways from both industry veterans and early career professionals and opportunities to connect one-on-one with some of the country’s leading ITS employers.

The Careers Expo highlights the broad and multidisciplinary nature of ITS, encompassing engineering, computer science, AI and data analytics, urban planning, and transport policy - all essential for shaping future mobility systems across Australia and globally.

With support from major players including Cubic, Deloitte, AWS, Braums, Telstra, Lexus, and key government agencies like the City of Gold Coast, Queensland Government, Transport for NSW and Main Roads Western Australia, the event offers students a firsthand look at the technologies and organisations powering the future of transport.

The ITS Australia Summit 2025 runs from 19–21 November at the Gold Coast Exhibition & Convention Centre. Entry to this customised Career Expo is $30 per student.
