The ITS Australia NextGens are thrilled to partner with Intelematics for the third episode of our Outback ITS Webinar Series!
These bite-sized presentations will put the spotlight on an application of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in regional and remote areas across the nation, highlighting the unique challenges and innovations required to deliver these solutions.
This session explores how eCall and connected vehicle technology are transforming emergency response across Australia and New Zealand—enabling faster, more informed response when it matters most. It will provide a practical overview of how eCall operates locally, the unique challenges of responding to crashes across Australia’s vast road network, and the critical role these systems play in improving safety outcomes. The session will also examine the growing influence of vehicle safety standards, including ANCAP requirements, and what they mean for the future of connected vehicle safety. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how connected vehicle technologies are being applied today, and the opportunities they present for improving road safety into the future.
This is a great opportunity for all transport professionals to hear about the one of the most important regional ITS technologies in Australia.
