NextGens Webinar: MeTraM—a mesoscopic traffic model for Perth

We’ll be hearing from Shad Abdul Razaque, Operational Modelling and Visualisation Manager at Main Roads Western Australia, who will present MeTraM—a mesoscopic traffic model being developed for the Perth metropolitan area.

It's being built using PTV VISUM with Simulation-Based Assignment, MeTraM is based on data from SCATS, traffic surveys, ROM24, and other sources. 

MeTraM model covers: 

• 700 signalised intersections
• 50% of Perth’s metropolitan population
• 700 square kilometres
