The NextGens will be meet at the EastLink Operations Centre and will be taken on guided tour of Melbourne's EastLink facilities including:

• EastLink traffic control room
• Tag logistics centre
• Customer contact centre
• Tunnel approach – lane control signs, barrier, turn-around point, evacuation point
• Visit to Mullum Mullum tunnel
• Tunnel ventilation facility – ventilation on demand control systems, ventilation fan room, air sensors
• Visit to toll point - tolling technologies and how EastLink operates electronic tolling

Safety note:

• Sturdy shoes or work boots must be worn (i.e. no runners, no open-toe shoes, no high heels)
• Long sleeves, long trousers must be worn
• EastLink will provide hi viz vests (or BYO)
