From connected and automated mobility to smart infrastructure, real‑time data and digital transport networks, the ITS Australia Global Summit 2026 is the premier forum to explore the innovations shaping the next era of transport - locally, regionally and globally.


What to expect from the ITS Australia Global Summit
This year marks the inaugural ITS Australia Global Summit, rebranded from the ITS Australia Summit to better reflect the global audience, participants and topics that are explored across the program. Evolving over the last ten years, the ITS Australia Summit has grown to become one of the industry's leading and well-respected traffic technology conferences. Aa mix of plenary sessions, workshops, expert panels and information sessions are presented, offering a once-a-year opportunity for transport technology professionals to come together to discuss and plan the future of transport, in Australia and the world.
Promising to be an action-packed three days filled with innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking ideas, attendees can look forward to dynamic keynote presentations, interactive technology showcases, thought-provoking panel discussions, and valuable networking opportunities that bring together the brightest minds in transport and mobility.

Submit an Abstract
This is your opportunity to be a part of a truly global discussion in the transport technology and infrastructure space.
Abstracts will open soon, so please check back here periodically for more information. In the meantime, be sure to familiarise yourself with the below abstract expectations:
Your Abstract
- Your abstract must be between 200-250 words and written as a paragraph - full papers are not required. You should not use this submission as means of selling your organisation’s products or services (the submission should not be a sales pitch).
- This event is being planned as an in-person conference and accepted submitted abstract presentations will be given in-person from the lectern.
- All submissions will be reviewed by a panel made up of subject matter experts representing industry, academia and government.
- If successful, your abstract will be scheduled into the program. You will be informed of your presentation schedule, and asked to complete Speaker Registration
- A reduced fee is available for speakers, plus additional discounts for members of ITS Australia.
