Dr Mike Lenné, Chief Safety Officer, Seeing Machines 

Mike is a globally recognised human factors expert and cognitive science leader. A former Professor at Monash University, he has spent his career improving human-technology interaction and safety. At Seeing Machines, he has led research, commercial growth and innovation, and now serves as Chief Safety Officer, advancing global safety policy, partnerships and AI-human collaboration.

PaoYi Tan, Head of Automated & Emerging Technologies at National Transport Commission (NTC)

PaoYi leads Australia’s autonomous vehicle regulatory program. With 20+ years’ experience working across government and private sectors, including for the Productivity Commission, nbnTM Australia and Australia Post, she specialises in regulatory reform, legislation development, and industry-government collaboration.

Mark Messenger, Head of Smart Transport ANZ / Global COE Lead, NEC Australia

Mark is a smart transport technology leader with extensive experience in intelligent transport systems, connected mobility and urban transport innovation. As Head of Smart Transport ANZ and Global Centre of Excellence Lead at NEC Australia, he specialises in deploying technology solutions that improve transport efficiency, safety and network.

Richard Delplace, Director of Emerging Technologies at Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI)

Richard leads policy and industry coordination on vehicle safety, autonomy and environmental performance. He also serves on the boards of ITS Australia, AASRA and AUSMASA, supporting innovation and skills development. Richard is also a Director on the Boards of ITS Australia, the Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority (AASRA), and the Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA).

Susan Harris, CEO, ITS Australia 

As Chief Executive Officer ITS Australia, Susan brings more than two decades of experience spanning transport strategy, logistics, supply chain management and intelligent transport systems to the intelligent transport sector. Highly regarded for driving innovation and collaboration, Susan serves on Australian and international advisory groups and regularly advising governments on mobility and emerging technology issues.
