Mobility 2025 - Last chance to register!

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Australia, Mobility 2025 conference will showcase speakers from around Australia and internationally on the practical application and strategic implications of advanced transport technologies in creating more efficient, sustainable, safe, and accessible mobility systems.

Taking place in Sydney from the 15th – 16 May, the Mobility 2025 agenda will bring together leading experts and innovators from commercial, government, research and the non-for-profit sectors to engage on the critical issues that will shape Australia’s transport landscape in the years to come.

Building on the success of the 2024 conference, the 2025 conference will feature over 50 speakers, presenters and panellists across 10 sessions, designed to address the most critical and emerging issues shaping the transport landscape now and into the future.

Held over two days, the conference will examine a range of relevant topics including sustainable transport, on-demand and active transport, smart payments and seamless ticketing, energy transition and grid management, accessible and inclusive transport, and more.

Conference attendees will hear from an array of industry experts on:

  • Future Mobility and Technology Fundamentals: with rapid technological progression, has the industry lost sight of getting the fundamentals of payment and ticketing systems right.
  • Payments, Ticketing, and Fare Collection Advancements: the evolution of fare collection solutions driven by advancements in payments and ticketing technologies to enhance passenger convenience, reduce transaction times, and improve operational efficiency
  • Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI): the use of data and AI to enhance various aspects of mobility.
  • Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and Integrated Mobility: a transformative solution integrating transport services into a seamless, accessible safer platform enhancing the customer experience.
  • Sustainable and Accessible Transport: Achieving Accessible and Sustainable Transport through Technology and the regulatory, power and implementation challenges.

Presenters will also unveil pilots, trials and early deployments in the mobility landscape from Australia and abroad – all underpinned by the latest technology.

Hear from representatives from government infrastructure delivery bodies like Transport for NSW, Department of Transport and Main Roads NSW, Department of Transport and Planning Victoria and Main Roads Western Australia on key ITS projects and initiatives from across the country, as well a number of university and PHD candidates on the latest research and critical thinking within the ITS sector.

Industry leaders from leading commercial technology and consultancy companies will also share projects, insights and learnings across the two days conference, including Deloitte, Veitch Lister, Ventia, Siemens, Conduent Transportation and Cubic.

ITS Australia’s Chief Executive Officer, Susan Harris said that the mobility ecosystem will continue to be driven by a combination of innovative technologies, consumer demands, and regulatory pressures.
